Present Mohican Mills, Textile Facility, Environmental Engineer/Plant Engineer Manager, working directly with the Corporate Vice President. Responsible for EPA issues, (water & air) permits, process improvements, and equipment. Personnel, production planning, purchasing, (over $350,000 savings last yr) metals, plastic, paper, dyes and chemicals. In charge plant, Safety, facilities, production, and maintenance. Approximately 750,000sq. Ft. of production equipment for Warping, Knitting (circular & tri-cot), Dyeing, and Finishing. Buckeye Fire Equipment, Superintendent for plant operation and maintenance. 2001-2005 Gerdau-Ameristeel. Charlotte. N.C. (Company downsized)

General Manager Rolling Mill Products, Production, Electrical, & Mechanical Depts. Plant comprised of EAF, to billets, to rolling mill, to finishing.

Duties include purchasing, scheduling, planning, work line-ups, repairs; manage vender contacts, cost management, Safety, employee reviews, budget and other management duties. Use Lawson, Mainsaver & Maximo programs. Safety, 5-S, Lean Mfg. Green belt program, instruction, fish bone failure analysis. (Duties include Production, Electrical, Security, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC's, & ABB drives, fiber optics, waste water, HVAC & more). In charge of half the personnel in the Metals Fabrication shop. Total mill & maintenance procedures, security, environmental issues, compliance, inspections & overhead cranes.

I am also involved in OSHA Safety reviews and keeping within ISO & QS 9000 requirements, environmental safety compliance, and quality, along with security systems.

1.5million square feet, Strip Rolling facility, 26 electrical 32 mechanical and a crane repair crew to maintain 26 cranes, to 75 tons, and 2, 1 million gal. Waste water treatment facilities.

1995- 1998 Instrumental in the complete start up of the 13 Inch Bar Rolling Mill since it's shut down. As Systems Analyst, I maintained the main computer room on jobs ranging from trouble shooting main computers, peripherals and all mill drives. Supervised, assisted, & trained, electricians, mechanical and mill operations personnel in maintaining steady mill production and safety reviews. Totally involved in the change over from Westinghouse Drives to ABB Drives, (multi-million dollar project) which is a P.C. based system. Also, all peripherals connected to it. Quite instrumental in that change over. Voltages from low voltage to 13.8KV. Fiber Optic Systems, PLC controls for automotive products, screw compressors, Hyd. Elevators and more.
