Brief description about the company- An overseas unit of Asian Paints Ltd, producing 6000-7000 MT paints comprising of Decorative, Wood finishes, Protective Coatings and other allied products. This plant produces the protective range of coatings under License from Berger International, Singapore. Asian paints, Oman is the market leader in wood finish in Oman

Working as Technical In charge, reporting to GM.

Products-

Decorative- Water and Solvent based primers, undercoats and topcoats of different qualities.

Décor finishes.

Wood Finish- Acid Cured, NC bases, One and Two Pack PU, Water, solvent & Universal Stains, Wood Preservatives etc

Protective coatings-PU, Epoxy, Inorganic Silicate coatings, etc

Current Responsibilities-

R&D-

Product development, formula modification, Product benchmarking, Product Testing,

Internal Quality Review, Standardization of products at shop floor, Trouble shooting in

production

Techno-sales/Techno-commercial-

Product recommendation, Making/modifying Technical Datasheets, MSDS, Method of

Application, suggesting warranty clauses, Accompanying / giving inputs to

Technical Servicing-
