Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in commercial, residential, highway, construction landfill, open pit mining, and military experience. Also, I completed my Associates of Applied Sciences in Computer Aided Drafting, on December 12, 2011.

Education

As a high school junior and senior I attended D.Russel Lee Vocational School for Carpentry; the course included instruction in manual drafting, print reading and basic framing skills. More recently I have studied at ITT Technical Institute for Computer Aided Drafting; I achieved a 3.77 GPA, graduated with honors, and was inducted into the National Technical Honors Society. In the future I plan on furthering my skills in their Bachelors of Construction Management course.

Served with 367th Engineer Battalion at Bagram Air Force Base (Kabul) and forward firebase Ripley (Tarin Kowt) Afghanistan

General Solder Tasks, guard duties, react to direct and indirect hostile fire, organize and perform convoy missions, General Combat Engineer Tasks, Ordinance disposal, minefield clearing (with up-armored D7G)

General heavy Equipment Operation: Read from prints for road construction, building pads, flood routes, parking lot construction. I trained less experienced soldiers for basic equipment operations, preventative maintenance checks and services and overall safety of equipment operations. I am also trained for grade checking and print to dirt operations. My equipment duties included: finish and rough grade with crown for roadways (Grader 130G), prep roadways (Dozer D7G and Scraper 621B), search for suitable materials to build roadway, load material onto trucks (892 John Deere Hydraulic excavator), finish grade parking lots and building pads (D7G & 130G).
