Drilling reservist. Performed corrective and preventative maintenance on the Navy's Field Communications Equipment. Activated for Iraqi Freedom II in Kuwait. Honorably discharged as an Electronics Technician First Class Petty Officer March 2005. Retired from the U.S. Navy with over 21 years of service on May 1, 2005.

Field Service Engineer
One of the largest suppliers of healthcare equipment in the world.
Installed 5 Siemens Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems within a limited time frame in the large area of Chicago and insured systems operated at or above specifications. Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on magnetic resonance imaging systems to keep equipment performing to customer’s satisfaction within the customer’s patient schedule. Helped train other field service engineers in-house thus saving the company the expense of having to send these engineers to training out of state. Left position to complete my college education.
LEADERSHIP
Qualified as Petty Officer of the Watch and Officer of the Deck, who are both in charge of security at the quarterdeck of the ship and responsible for all personnel boarding the ship. Also, supervised 7 to 15 technicians on various shifts while on ship and shore duty.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Adept at diagnosing and isolating malfunctions to printed circuit board level and then to component in different electronic systems using schematics and appropriate electronic test equipment.
