• HR Generalist functions since 2008

• Design & implementation of safety programs, OJT Programs, & In-House training & seminars.

• Responsible to assist in the development, evaluation of training effectiveness & assessment of the training needs, plans & team development.

• Responsible to deliver and/ or design the following training: Quality Awareness, Environmental, Accident Investigation, Due Diligence, Emergency Evacuation Procedure, (In-House Reach Truck /Forklift training, WHMIS)

• Develop & implement training sessions for Supervisor & Team Leader development

• Maintain off-site training requests & track tuition re-imbursements upon completion.

• Maintenance of MSDS indexes & binders.

• Specific areas of accountability include training records, training plans, evaluation of the effectiveness of training and competency testing & maintenance of Training Database.

• Participate in the Safety Group Program – write & implement safety standards, attend networking sessions. Just completed the Safety Group Program in 2011.

• Participate as a team member on the following initiatives: Management Systems Committees, Ergonomics

• Fulfill duties of JHSC chairperson: record minutes & post (issue minutes), issue zone audits, log open items & ensure open items are corrected & closed in a timely manner.

• Follow up & ensure that open items found during 5S and Health & Safety Audits are corrected in a timely manner.

• Participate with Peer Review as Panelist and Facilitator.

• Facilitate the Job Ranking Committee.

• Conduct internal EMS audits e.g. process audits, EWA

• Submit monthly training reports to Human Resource Manager.

• Participate & help to plan company social functions & fundraising events as required.
