§ Setup and operated parts according to blueprints. Setup part by reading the blueprint for each job according to specs. Most parts had to be withing .015 thousandths.
§ Used 100 or 200 per revolution calipers to check parts, and used square or crowsfoot to check angles.
§ Had to log in and out of computer on Jobboss before starting each job and when finished. Put in part count in computer.
§ Certified to drive a forklift in 2006. Took written test and forklift test. Passed first time. I know the safety regulations on forklift operating.

Punch Operator/Assembler 01/2000-10/2005
Setup and ran 120-ton Strippit Turret Punch, had to make sure punches were aligned properly so they don't get destroyed. Pulled up each job on computer and programmed into Punch. Set stops for each part to correct position to keep them from getting punched. After everything was checked for accuracy then I ran the job until it was finished.
§ Constructed restaurant equipment by assembling an outer shell with
screws and a screw gun, making sure they looked good before putting all components together such as heating elements, insulation, wiring, plugs, etc.
Each machine was tested by checking ohms and amps and logged down when they passed inspection.
§ Performed acid cleaning on welded parts to get all weld marks off surfaces.
Ground to perfection on welded parts-had to grind a good smooth surface to look good for restaurant equipment. Used a handsander or surface grinder. Parts had to be to specification before assembling together.
§ Cut wood for crates to correct size for each machine to pack up restaurant
equipment.
* Did inventory every three months: had to count all parts in shop and log down

§ Cut round bar with manual saw, measuring each piece with calipers or square.
§ Loaded six pieces of roundbar in chuck at a time. Milled a slot on one side according to blueprint, after checking parts turned over and milled other side out to size according to blueprint. Then deburred each piece on a sander, making sure they were deburred very well with no burrs.
§ Setup and operated the shear, cutting the entire job, then moved to punch, putting proper punches in, making sure the punches were sharpened and clean.
§ Conducted Quality Control for five years. When one hole was punched on part, had to log onto quality control sheet, the exact position of hole and size.
§ Organized all stock shelves by number. Setup shelves for stockroom, then put number of each part on shelves and put parts where they belong in order of number.
§ Did Cadman B and filed all blueprints when jobs were done. Calculated blueprints on computer using Cadman B. After doublechecking to make sure blueprint was correct, printed blueprint out and sent out to shop to setup and run job. When job was finished I filed the blueprints in a file cabinet by number order.
