Designation & Responsibilities

I am working in the capacity of Procurement and Logistics Executive for the Middle East sales, service and distribution office of Gerab National Enterprises.

Job responsibilities include;

 Preparation of purchase order to the suppliers as per customer PO, engineering specifications, delivery and payment specifications.

 Monthly reports were to be submitted to the management on monthly basis, had to maintain a team of 10 people.

 Preparation of invoices to the customer as per the order specifications.

 Follow up of the orders including required co-ordination for expediting and production progress to meet customer commitments.

 Responsible for shipment operations such as quotation from fright agents, arrangement of collection and delivery, and supervise the shipment to meet customer delivery terms as per the order.

 Preparation of shipping docs for the consignment as per the order.

 Preparation of L/C and all import/export documentation such as certificate of origin, legalization from relevant embassies, etc.

 Preparation of weekly sales/bookings report to the Procurement Manager.

 Responsible for attending the discrepancy reports from customer and finding solutions to complete that orders.

 All Procurement and logistics operations in Oracle software application system.

 Responsible for direct purchase from supplier’s E-Commerce site as a registered E-commerce user of their website business service.

 Responsible for purchasing and invoicing of not less than 200 orders per month comprising an average amount of 2 million USD.

 Major clients dealt with are Aramco-Saudi Arabia, KNPC-Kuwait National Petroleum Co., Qatar Petroleum Co., Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas-Qatar, PDO-Petroleum Development Oman L.L.C., BAPCO-Bahrain Petroleum Co., J Ray Mcdermott, Petrofac International, ADMA-OPCO, ADGAS, GASCO, ZADCO, ADCO, Technip, and NPCC.

This process creates files to be used by Fidelity Wide Processing (FWP) in Covington, USA, to do literature fulfilment. The input is personal Participant data. The output is one of four files; Personal Fact Sheet (PFS), Confirmation, Statement, Retiree modelling and HIPAA Notification.

Job responsibilities include;

 Responsible for creating and updating standard procedures and processing.

 Processing all Literature types namely HIPAA, PFS, CONFIRM, LETTER, RET-OD and COBRA.

 Monitoring of the record keeping system on a daily basis.
