Experience

March, 2010 – Aug, 2010 CROSSROADS MERCEDES-BENZ

Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche

New and Pre-owned Sales Manager

• Large corporately owned Dealership consisting of 14 dealerships with 35 franchises. Took position primarily to relocate back to Virginia, realized quickly that this was not a good move or the correct dealership group for me (Company replaced three GM’s and three GSM’s within a period of three months at this location).

• Dealership was purchased approximately a year and a half ago and has struggled since the beginning. New car Mercedes sales had been averaging less than ten units per month with one month production at only two units. Was able to move sales to an average of twenty units a month with a gross PVR of over $4000.00 (New Mercedes $5000.00). Dealership experienced profitable months for the first time while I was overseeing sales activities.

• In order to elevate sales established processes to be followed by all sales personnel to insure proper accountability. These processes included set procedures for the sales process whether it be for floor traffic, phone-ups or internet leads. Consistent monitoring of personnel and daily one on one reviews not only insured proper procedures were followed, but made all sales personnel accountable.

• Strong internet skills and the establishment of set procedures and time lines for handling all leads generated from internet inquires.

Sept, 2009 – Feb, 2010 CARLTON MERCEDES-BENZ

General Sales Manager

• Medium to Large family owned single point Mercedes-Benz Dealership located in the Southeast, city consists of 56,000 residents with a county population of 385,000. I was hired and brought in by active on-site owner and his General Manager to revitalize and professionalize variable operations.

• By asserting hands-on management and direct daily sales involvement have been able to produce results that have increased sales of new vehicles by 150% ( 2 times 2008 sales ) with the best ever increase coming in December of over 200% ( 3 times 2008 sales ). Dealership ranking within its group of 102 dealers has risen to the top 10% in sales numbers outselling dealers in significantly larger markets such as Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Charlotte, and more. In addition Pre-owned sales have seen triple percentage increases as well, while F&I had one of the best months in the 15 year history of the company in December.

• As mentioned these results were obtained by daily involvement and hands-on management of the entire sales and management team. This team consisted of new, pre-owned and F&I managers along with 8 Salespeople. Success has been realized

through processes that first and foremost make everyone

responsible. .

• Much more was done to accomplish these results, but I do not have the luxury of space nor time on a resume to elaborate. I will just state that through the implementation of best practices and a professional approach I can make them perform at any dealership, increasing sales, employee morale and client C.S.I.
