EXPERIENCE

Aircraft Maintenance and Munitions Management

Oversaw maintenance scheduling and repair of over 165 pieces of aerospace ground support equipment achieving an outstanding 95% availability rate.

Directed the efforts of 682 munitions, maintenance, range and ballistic missile support personnel at 39 work centers responsible for the storing, disposing and maintenance of conventional and nuclear munitions and Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles.

As Director for Maintenance at Midwest air base supervised the activities of 62 technical personnel in 9 different aircraft maintenance specialties working in three shifts with an annual budget of $12.2 million for production operations.

Plant and Industrial Safety

Managed $7.7 million munitions stockpile, eight custody accounts and associated aerospace ground equipment and vehicles valued at $3.8 million for NATO defense.

Restored vital engine test facility to full capacity. Ensured $1.5 million contract depot team refurbishment and facility funded for future maintenance.

Served as Facility Manager for 73 industrial facilities with oversight that included safety, and environmental pollution prevention/hazardous waste reduction programs.

Nuclear Surety and Technical Advisory

Served as key technical inspector for assessing the military services nuclear capability for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Defense Nuclear Agency.

Selected as the lead technical inspector to review the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) nuclear surety directives. Formulated simulation plans and optimized training techniques.

Production Management/Operations

Served as Night Shift Fermentation Area Manager for the E&J Gallo Winery Plant

Responsible for meeting annual production goals and staying under budget for the fermentation and crusher departments while adhering to stringent safety and sanitation standards with the added responsibility of responding swiftly to incidents within the crusher area while reducing the potential for accidents and incidents during the shift.

Six Sigma Green Belt, behavioral based safety project; prospects of becoming a Black Belt.

Consistently upheld “Best in Class” performance across five production lines; four out of five years in the top five . Created an atmosphere that valued continual learning and personal accountability; low costs per case know-how, 24 hour by 7 day operation.

Unearthed the installation of a 1200 bottles per minute, bottling line as the Line 11 Start-Up Manager, controlled a $14 million budget, responsible for hiring, developing operational and maintenance teams, hosting vendor and contractor support, and equipment.
