TECHNICAL SKILLS
* C/C++ Programming
* Expertise in MATLAB, Keil, HSpice, VHDL, Verilog, MAGIC, ModelSim, Perl, AutoCAD.
* Certified embedded system developer- Prolific Systems and Technologies Pvt Ltd (ISO 9001-2008).
* Computer networking (CCNA).
WORK EXPERIENCE
* TANSWA Technologies, INC. (INDIA), Project Engineer Jun’09 – Mar’10
* Manufacturing of control systems like PLC panels, VFD panels, mimic panels, purge panels.
* Performed testing of control panels by ladder diagram programming.
* Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Teaching Assistant Jan’12 – May’12
* Teaching MATLAB to undergraduate students.
RESEARCH AND PROJECTS.
* GRADUATE THESIS: Speech compression using linear predictive coding and embedded zero tree wavelet coding.
* Worked on compression of speech signal by using linear predictive coding and zero tree wavelet coding.
* The output of the LPC filter known as the residual signal is compressed by using a technique called EZW.
* Demonstrated increase in quality of signal with increases in number of passes.
* Debugging was done in MATLAB by using breakpoints and commands like dbstop, dbclear, dbcont.
* VLSI PROJECT: Designing of 4-bit Adder Using XOR and NAND Gate.
* XOR gate was designed by using transmission gates.
* XOR logic was implemented by using only 6 transistors.
* NAND gate performs the task of giving output logic for CARRY.
* Using the cell hierarchical structures in MAGIC we have built a 1-bit adder.
* 4-Bit ADDER is constructed using 1-Bit adder as a building cell.
* EMBEDDED SYSTEM PROJECT: Robot Control Module.
* Designed control module for two wheel robot to move forward and backward in centimeters and turn at a specified angle.
* Atmega 161 microcontroller was used.
* Robot stops when bumper hits an obstacle.
* UNDERGRADUATE PROJECT: Remote monitoring and fault detection over a wireless network.
* We designed an automated system to sense the fault and display the faulty parameters.
* Sensor circuit senses the faulty parameter and is given to the input of the signal conditioning circuit.
* The failed parameters are displayed on the display unit and announced audibly through speaker.
