MSC Industrial Direct, provides facility for E-Procurement, a real time process, to the customers for placing order with multiple suppliers at the same time. The details of the order are maintained on the AS/400 system of MSC either in XML or EDI format.
MSC Industrial Direct has outsourced the maintenance and development activity to CGI using the onsite-offshore model.

HORIZON, an enterprise solution, emerged out of the architectural changes done to their core product called “Artesia”, which provides complete “ERP” functionality for oil and gas exploration and production companies, oil and gas trust companies, university trusts, and any other company that manages assets. CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc., USA has outsourced part of its Horizon product’s development & maintenance work to CGI-India.
Assimilation activities were conducted at CGI office for various modules, viz. Production, Revenue, Accounts Payable, Account Receivables, IRS Reporting, etc. Currently offshore team is involved in maintenance and development activities of Horizon product.

EATON Automotives is an automotive company based in Detroit. The company creates solutions and partner with OEMs to respond to the market demands for improved fuel economy, vehicle emission and safety systems, via our engine air management, powertrain controls, safety and security systems.
EATON Automotives has outsourced their entire JDEdwards application to L&T Infotech for a period of 2 years in the year 2004 onwards.
The modules that are outsourced to L&T Infotech were:

The project involves achieving steady-state maintenance for all the above modules at L&T Infotech in multiple phases, namely, Preparation, Planning, Assimilation/Transition and Steady-state maintenance. During Steady-state maintenance, L&T Infotech takes the complete maintenance responsibilities that includes, major enhancements to the applications, correction of faults, improve performance and preventive maintenance activities.

The project was to migrate CACS 8.0.1 software product from an IBM Mainframe CICS/VSAM environment to an IBM AS/400 (ILE COBOL/DB2) environment.
L&T Infotech executed the migration using an Onsite-Offshore execution model. The migration process consisted of the following phases:

BUNGEE is an integrated global agribusiness and food company operating in the farm-to-consumer food chain. It is the largest soybean processor in USA and one of the world's largest exporters of Soya products.
This project has been conceived to facilitate reporting of the Supply and Demand figures for different commodities on a monthly basis. Since data entry will occur across the trading offices spread across the globe, a secure internet-based reporting mechanism (using PKI) is being implemented.

CHECK ISSUANCE SYSTEM – CITIBANK, USA (11/01 to 04/02)
Citibank is one of the leading banks in USA. Citibank delivers a wide array of banking, lending and investment services to individual consumers, as well as to small businesses. The Check Issuance System is a disbursement system, which can be used for pension as well as any other periodic or non-periodic disbursement coupled with the associated services of record keeping, tax withholding, tax remittance and Electronic Funds Transfer facility. The system generates number of payment, forecast and audit reports. The system interfaces to other systems, viz. Accounting System, Cash Management System, Tax Withholding System, Tax Remittance System, Check Clearance System and Electronic Funds Transfer.
The scope of this project was to provide maintenance & production support to the Check Issuance System

Ford Japan Limited is the sister concern of a Ford USA which is having presence across the globe in more than 120 countries.
The system is an E-Commerce application accessed by various Dealers and Car Company System Officials. The system deals with locating the different stages of production in which a vehicle can be, tracking the order of the vehicle. The system officials are able to access the status & report online on the web. Also the system has an entirely new feature for Used Car Locator, which allows the user to maintain Inventory of Used Car along the features and to search for these vehicles from the inventory for resale based on the features. It also gives the dealers the facility to estimate / discount the price of the vehicle as per the taxation rules applicable. It also allows users to generate different sales reports, which are necessary for the day-to-day operation of the dealer and the organization.
The new E-Commerce system pulls the inventory and purchase related data from the legacy system on AS/400 at some specified interval and also updates the necessary data on the legacy system.

Firstlogic Inc is Postal Service Company providing software related to Postal Department of the Unites States, Canada and United Kingdom. The ACE product is an address correction and encoding product for the US and Canadian market. The product helps the customer of the client dealing with mass mailings and data warehousing to ensure that the addresses that are received are corrected and validated before storing in their database.

Volvo is one of the world's largest producers of trucks, buses and construction equipment and holds a leading position in the fields of marine and industrial power systems and aircraft engine components.
The project aim was to make the VDS system Year 2000 compliant. The effort required involved development of a tool to generate a Seed List, scan for the date patterns and synonym processing, Impact Analysis of the programs and subsequently modifying the programs for the VDS system.
