JOB PROFILE

 Inspection of materials which includes receipt inspections and item identifications as per specified drawing and specifications.

 Setup and Final Dimensional inspection of structures during fabrication and installation.

 Scrutiny and approval of DCRs, NCRs.

 Scrutiny and approval of Weld Test Plans & Scope documents

 Review of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) as per ASME SEC IX.

 Review of Procedure qualification record (PQR) as per ASME SEC IX.

 Review of Welder performance qualification (WPQ) as per ASME SEC IX.

 Checking the records of baking of electrodes, preheating & PWHT to ensure the compliance of WPS and weld quality.

 Studying the drawings and inspecting the job as per drawings.

 Visual inspections and non-destructive testing of weld seams in accordance with the standards

 Verifying the qualification of welders, ID cards and performance, validity of welder’s certificates.

 Check the welding equipment, gauges, accessories required validity of calibration certificate for welding equipment, check the performance of equipment and electrodes, batch certificates.

 Review of documents for compliance of drawings (COCs) and systems(SYSTEM BCS)
