Leader for introduction of the initial Edmunds.com direct-to-dealer Tier III pilot market program. Achieved 25% initial penetration.
Assists franchised new car dealers/dealer groups evaluate advertising opportunities with Edmunds.com -http://www.edmunds.com – to directly market to our large audience, of 13M unique users/new vehicle intenders each month, with a concentration on New Vehicle Inventory and Dealer Locator sales lead products, a special emphasis the Edmunds Premier Dealer Program. Leads successful program development in support of national launch planned to commence 2011.

NEOSYNERGY, INC. 2007 to 2008
Director of Sales for Middleware (SAAS) supplier to AOL Autos, Google’s iGoogle and other automotive ISP’s, ASP’s, OEM’s, franchised new vehicle dealers, data integration, DMS, and related sales enablers in the space, including Best Deals, Best Deals Direct, Live Chat, PPC (i.e., PayPerClick).
Accomplishments include directed sales team adding 700+ franchised new vehicle dealers to contract with one or more revenue stream programs by this early stage company. Direct reports included management of 17 first line managers and including 3 account executives and dealer sales executives.
AUTONATION, INC. 2001 to 2007
Northwest Region Manager or AutoUSA Dealer Network Division of AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE Symbol: AN) the largest dealership group in the US.
Accomplishments included contracting with 650+ new vehicle franchised dealers. Top Performer for AutoUSA each year in this affiliation structuring, marketing and closing complex, highly profitable transactions at senior levels with dealer organizations and business development partners in the Pacific Northwest.
DAEWOO MOTOR AMERICA, INC. 1997 to 2000
Promoted to National Manager Fleet and Used Cars (1999). Initiated, orchestrated and closed highly profitable big-ticket transactions with regional and national rental car operators involving over one-third of all new Daewoo vehicles. Started (1997) as National Manager Market Representation and member of US launch team.
AMERICAN ISUZU MOTORS INC. 1990 to 1996
Promoted to National Market Representation Manager, 5/95. Responsible for the selection of all (200+) commercial vehicle truck dealers for the Company. Develops and achieves dealerization plan through the direction of department staff and regional staff. Directs daily operations functions and business management functions including field staff development and training.
Promoted to Fleet & Lease Sales Department Manager, 1/92. Developed and achieved sales plan through direction of department staff and regional distribution managers. Deployed $4MM fleet incentive budget within a totally integrated $6MM fleet and lease sales marketing plan. Profitably increased the sales of Isuzu RODEO and TROOPER sport utility vehicles 45% for the 1993-1994 calendar year.
Started as Western Region Fleet & Lease Sales Manager, 6/90. Responsible for the leasing and sales of light vehicles to fleet intenders in major U.S. corporations and government accounts and prospects.
GE CAPITAL Commercial Finance Fleet Services 1981-1990
VP-National Accounts, responsible for the sales of fleet lease and management services through client contact with operational and financial managers of the largest companies within the Mid-Atlantic, South, and Southwest U.S. Signed new lease transactions with such noteworthy customers as Black & Decker and L&M Tobacco.
Consulted with senior executives and line managers to develop proposals that met or exceeded fleet management funding and operations objectives, closing business with ARA Services and others. Promoted corporate image through on-going high visibility with trade associations and suppliers.
