• Responsibilities at Merrill/MLPRO Responsible for performing unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, functional testing, client acceptance testing, user interface testing, batch process testing, and production support testing of the various program and/or proc changes

• Developed Account Cross Reference Application as a part of the Options Reengineering project. Coded all new maps using GTB CICS Screen Generator, wrote 10 new online DB2/SQL programs.

• Developed new Affirmation System Multiple Item Matching. Modified current Affirmation system to take in the trades and confirms that are left over after the one-to-one match. This enhancement removed the disadvantages of MLPro competitiveness by being able to perform automated multiples matching.

• Developed Utility programs in REXX to identify which programs reference which Tablebase tables and which tables are obsolete, also developed REXX programs to identify all details of change management packages, creating tab-delimited files and creating ad hoc reports.

• Developed new Job/Inventory to create a feed to the Tax Reporting Services Group via an NDM transmission.

• Integration: ETF automation when booking all ETF types: Equity; Fixed Income; Commodity; Currency and ETNs. Converted COBOL/CICS programs to CICS using MQ Series for message delivery and Broker Notification. Worked on the integration with Atlas UNIX server using XML feeds to and from Atlas and to/from the mainframe. A program was written on the mainframe side to parse the XML feed from Atlas and going back to Atlas.

• Integration of MLPRO INFOPAC reporting system into Bank of America XPRTR reporting system: Hands on Project Leader responsible for a team of 3 developers. I was the only liaison between the scheduling, operations, back office and the offshore transmissions team, converting over 150 reports a week for a total of 3000 reports.

• Production Maintenance to Online Account Transfer application to improve the Bypass criteria for Expiring Options Cleanup process.

• Production Maintenance to MLPRO Strategic Renovations to improve batch reconciliation process for the Option Expiration OCC position files.

• Production maintenance for the Options Symbology application to segregate monthly and Expiring Accelerated options from regular options processing.

• Online Account Transfer application maintenance which improved the Bypass criteria for Expiring Options Cleanup process.

• Restructured and improved Year End Tax Reporting/1099 Corrections systems.

• Developed online system PMEO/PMIN used by Purchasing Agents, Accounts Payable, EDI and Traveler's Fulfillment, so Purchasing Agents could generate AdHoc reports from their desktop.

• Developed test scripts with Verify to automate testing of various CICS applications.

• As a Project Leader, I presented feasibility study to upper management for the GLAS system. I was responsible for the consulting team of five consultants.

• Maintained Purchasing invoices and produced reports for General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Travelers via FTP, from the Mainframe to the UNIX and/or Novell servers.
