Worked in conjunction with engineers from start to finish new water treatment facility for the City of Northglenn, Colorado. The old system couldn’t meet effluent ammonia criteria. The new facility treats wastewater with lagoons that discharge into the Bull Reservoir and Big Dry Creek. It is designed for an average flow of 4.5 MGD. It nitrifies, denitrifies, and removes biological phosphorus using three-stage biological nutrient removal (BNR) activated sludge. Handled all aspects of creating and maintaining drawings for all disciplines. Responsible for quality control.
