Responsible for providing HR Advisory support to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, which is the oldest and the largest hospital in Edmonton, comprising of 678 beds, where over 450,000 patients are served annually by a team of 7,000 employees. Provide full range of HR support to all the Departments and Programs of this hospital with my team of 3 HR Advisors and 3 HR Analysts & HR Assistants. Coordinate the Employee Management Committee and Professional Responsibility Committee Meetings with the four unions. Coordinated the transition to e-People HRIS of Alberta Health Services and on-going resolution of e-People related issues. Complement the Talent Management initiatives of Alberta Health Services.

03 March 2009 – 31 March 2011 Human Resources Account Manager

Shell Albian Sands Energy, Inc. (Shell Canada), Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.

Provided HR Advisory support to the departments of Mine Maintenance, Projects and Reliability & Inspections. As the HR Project Lead, coordinated the Bucyrus In-Sourcing Project for Shovel Maintenance in 2009 and then in 2010 the Finning In-Sourcing Project for Maintenance of Heavy & Medium Duty Fleets, with induction of 250 employees in these two projects, a cumulative annual cost saving of $30 million was achieved in labour and parts. Participated in the Change & Engagement initiatives towards the January 2010 integration of HR Policies & Procedures of Shell Canada into Shell Albian Sands Energy, Inc. Act as key HR liaison between Office of President / V.P. along with Office of Internal Audit, Office of General Counsel, Office of Evaluation, Global Mechanism, International Land Coalition, and Credit Union of IFAD. Collaborate with Director HR to oversee entire score of HR function for over 550 international / local staff plus more than 750 consultants and short-term staff.

• Part of an 8-person action plan group that introduced a new corporate operating model. This initiative shifted HR’s concentration to the Programme Management Department to improve project efficiencies in all 15 pilot countries served globally, with an anticipated go-ahead to involve more countries in the future

• In May 2007, selected by both Director HR and Assistant President – Programme Management Department to additionally assume full HR accountability for Operations (PMD) staffed by over 200 employees
