OBJECTIVE:

My experience and background are ideally suited to impact a financial institutions bottom line in either portfolio management (loss mitigation and asset resolution) or through organic asset generation by identifying and cultivating high quality credit and treasury management relationships.
CAREER SUMMARY:

Worked with all major property types (owner occupied and investor based), including special asset classes and middle market commercial businesses engaged in manufacturing, retail, wholesale, professional and service related operations.
Interfaced with both traditional and non-traditional capital sources utilizing diverse loan /equity structures. Client and product pipeline management required working closely with investors, business owners, capital sources, CPA’s, attorneys, commercial real estate brokers and various centers of influence.
Special asset portfolio risk management responsibilities included the identification and management of high risk credit relationships and ongoing internal (senior management) and external (regulatory) reporting. Classified asset management included identifying optimal dual path loan workout strategies after conducting forensic credit reviews / audits on complex multi-layered credit relationships, negotiating forbearance agreements and enforcing collection remedies through receiverships / foreclosures / short sales and deeds-in lieu / discounted note sales / ABC’s and A/B note structures and asset disposition exit plans including identifying prospective buyers and structuring loans to facilitate sales. Interfaced regularly with state and federal bank regulators /examiners (OCC / OTS).
Banking experience involved working within a defined loan policy and credit culture to optimize and balance premium asset quality with long term profitable client relationships. Comprehensive experience in commercial mortgage and “C & I” loan underwriting, documentation, loan processing and internal and external loan review compliance. Portfolio management included ongoing risk rating analysis using both “9” and “15” point grading scales.
