I designed and instituted all bid, buy and turnover procedures for Stein Construction. I was responsible to oversee the assembly of all bids, approved all proposals before submission and evaluated and approved all contracts before execution. I created and maintained a master sub database, bid log and estimating calendar. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities I assembled hard bids and budgets for all vertical industrial work.

I identified and targeted projects suitable for bidding, set overhead and profit margins, prepared general condition cost, maintained sub data base, created and maintained bid and budget spread sheet templates and bid log, assigned personnel to lead projects and mentored staff.
Specific Estimator duties included building and maintaining client relationships, preparing and presenting conceptual & schematic estimates, performing take-off pricing, assembly of bids for general contract and prime trades projects, setting up successfully bid and negotiated work and support services to project mangers for said work.
