My father was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 1997 and I helped take care of him for 5 years. I would help him with memory skills and exercises. We played games a lot and this helped with his coordination, speech and memory. I believe this helped him live a more functional life for a little longer that he would have, just existing day to day. This has given me great skills in elderly patient care.
