Key Responsibilities Include:

Control System: Detail Engineering of DCS, ESD,FAS, Remote Terminal Unit and Integrated SCADA System that involves preparing Technical Specification, Engineering Deliverables for the control system, Technical Bid Evaluation, Technical queries approval from client, Attending Kick of meetings, assistance to design team for preparing design deliverable i.e loop drawings, wiring drawing, I/O list, etc., Vendor Document review, Co-ordinate third party interface on profibus, Modbus, Telecom equipment, VSAT communication, attending FAT’s, Engineering support throughout for the successful SAT, Support to Quality, Logistics and Project Management team, Performance test up to System Hanover to Client.

Field Instrumentation:

Support Technical team in preparing specification for the field instrument as per International standards and Client Requirement, Support field instrumentation requisition engineering in preparing data sheet and Technical bid evaluation. That includes field instrumentation like Transmitters, Actuator valves, Control valves.

Other: Preparing specifications for instrumentation & control interfacing, Prepare C & E chart for Safety systems & Control narratives, Co-ordinate for intra & inter discipline requirements. ADANI Energy Limited. Ahemdabad(G.S.) India

Remote monitoring and control of Ahmedabad city gas network from ADANI head office. CNG is supplied to various gas stations across city through pipeline. Sixnet RTU is installed at each gas station for metering the supply and delivery of gas. RTU communicates over radio and satellite network. RTU communicates and receives data from dispensing units. Real time data is sent over satellite network to ADANI head office for remote monitoring and controls.As an additional scope client has awarded integration of CCTV network in client head office.

My responsibilities were project management, technical lead, preparation of hardware design manual software design manual, telecommunication and radio equipment, FAT and site supervision & commissioning.

Meryer Technologies., China

Worked as Project Lead for Polypropylene project. DCS system for polypropylene Pilot plant in China was Experion PKS system and C300 controller DCS System from Honeywell.

Setting of Generation control room for M/s Maharashtra Generation Co.Ltd.

(7-Thermal Power Plants, 1-Gas Power Plant and 1-Hydel Power Plant)

Scope of project is to supply and commissioning of field instruments/RTU/PLC/SCADA system/Networking and VCU Units. Acquiring data from DCS/RTU/DAS and Radio communication in various protocols such as Modbus on -RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, OPC etc.Performance calculations of plant and to transmit above data to Mumbai Head office through Leased Line and VSAT satellite network for close supervision of Top management for scheduling and tariffs.(Total 1500 X 9(Plants)+HO=15000 Tag system.)
