Roles and Responsibilities:
Upgrading of database from 10.2.0.1 to 10.0.2.4 in standalone and RAC Environment.
Cloning and restoring the backups on a test server using RMAN.
Creating Users and providing privs to users.
Regular monitoring of the alert log file for tracking any database issues.
Creating new user accounts, assigning roles and responsibility using system administration.
Managing tablespaces for storage analyzed and validated objects (compiling).
Supporting students by checking bugs.
Cloning database using RMAN and datapump etc.
Creating the manual database by giving appropriate datafile sizes.
Checking the mount points and releasing the space if it reaches threshold value.
Check the performance of the database by using different utilities like AWR, Stats etc..
