OBJECTIVE
To find a coal mine with plenty of coal reserves in Kentucky, Alabama, or West Virginia. I wish to become a foreman, and work my way up in either safety, or
management.

Eastern Kentucky University 2001-2006
• Bachelors degree in Public Relations.
• Experienced Miner Certification.
• Assistant Foreman Certificate.
• MET certification.
EXPERIENCE
General Underground Nov 2007 – August 2012
• Trained on all three shifts to do general labor including ventilation, dead work, and equipment maintenance.
• Later learned to run scoop, bolt machine, and ram car on third shift while doing dead work.
• Worked as a roofbolter operator from March 2009 to January 2010.
• Then worked filling in on different run shifts running shuttle cars, roofbolters, scoops, and ram cars. I was essentially a swing man for the whole mine.
• Ran a diesel scoop and forklift when I wasn’t filling in for anyone, hauling supplies, working the roadways, and unloading trucks outside.

• Have knowledge of outby duties, section duties, am a team player, and self sufficient.
• Can communicate well and get along with management and other employees.
• Arrive to work on time, and don’t miss work.
• Although I can’t be a section foreman, my assistant foreman papers
allow me to preshift, fill in on section, and be a foreman on a super
section if need be.
