As Executive Director of Hope Haven Center, was responsible for the daily and clinical operations of a 120-bed Residential Treatment Center, with an operating budget of $5.2 million and 115 FTEs. Supervision and development of the following: facility Medical Director and Psychologist consultants, Admissions Coordinator, Health Clinic, Clinical and Program Directors, Directors of Residential Services, House Supervisors, Director of Transitional Living, Court Liaison, COA and PQI Coordinator, Clinical Therapists, Maintenance Department, PBX Operators, Security personnel and students completing internships and individual volunteers as well as volunteer groups. Served as President of the Professional Staff Organization, Client Grievance Coordinator as well as the primary liaison with legal counsel and state contractors. Additionally, provided direct clinical, programmatic and administrative oversight for twelve treatment dormitories, as well as supervised successful accreditation and re-accreditation process with the Council on Accreditation and policy and procedure development and revisions.

• Active member of the Catholic Charities’ Collaborative Council, the Human Resource Leadership Circle, and the committees for: Staff Appreciation and Recognition, Volunteer Managers, as well as Performance and Quality Improvement.

• After assuming role of the Executive Director, decreased overtime by 90% per pay period.

• During first year, reduced restraint usage by 55%, as well as decreased resident and staff injuries by 62%, and developed system for reporting and administrative evaluation of each incident.

• Primary author of RFPs and negotiator with the Department of Social Services, Office of Community Services, resulting in being awarded multi-year and multi-million dollar contracts.

Direct report to the Assistant Administrator. -Responsible for the 24/7 management of a 17-bed geriatric, psychiatric department, with average yearly gross revenues of $1.8 million. In addition to policy and procedure development, fiscal management, program development, oversight of marketing and census development, was responsible for management of over 35 direct and ancillary department employees. • Turn-around of a floundering psychiatric unit into an ethically and financially solid program.
