vascular and echo technologist.

EDUCATION Grossmont College Cardiovascular Technology Program:

Two-year program accredited by CAAHEP with one year

of core curriculum in cardiovascular anatomy,

physiology, pathophysiology, and diagnostic

technologies, and two years of education in the

cardiac and vascular sonography .

1992-1997 University of San Diego

Bachelor of Arts, Sociology.

SKILLS Trained in the performance and interpretation of

noninvasive vascular diagnostic procedures, including:

• Duplex scanning and color flow imaging of the carotid arteries, upper- and lower-extremity veins and arteries, abdominal and renal vessels.

• Arterial and venous continuous-wave Doppler; segmental pressure measurement.

• Arterial and venous plethysmography and photoplethysmography

• TEE

• Adult Echo

• Stress Echo

• EKG interpretation/ Holter Monitors
