Job #: IRC24942

Job Title: Millwright Aprenticeship

Attention Human Resources:

Currently I am working at EPCOR Gold Bar site as a temporary Labourer II. My temporary work with EPCOR has provided me experience in the Maintenance area and I am keenly interested in becoming a full time member of a Maintenance crew and advance over time into roles with more responsibility and accountability and becoming an apprentice Millwright.

In reviewing your qualifications for this position, I feel my direct experience at Gold Bar would enable me to easily transition into this role. In working in both the Mechanical and Utility areas, I have gained experience in performing maintenance of process equipment, grounds maintenance as well as performing a number of other support activities as required. In addition, working with the crews and supervisors at Gold Bar, I understand the importance of work being performed in a safe manner in the expected timeframe. Though not directly related to the industrial environment, my restaurant experience has provided me with the opportunity to enhance my interpersonal skills and again experience in a lead role position.

I feel my experience and demonstrated motivation and hard work at Gold Bar relates closely to your advertised requirements and look forward to hearing from you.

Yours truly,

Kevin McKain
