Professional Experience

2008 – present

Design of a complete series of handmade silver jewelry, gold plated or not, design and construction of wedding bands and baptism crosses and creation of a complete sample book directed at retail. Commercial collaboration with 15 jewelry stores in the island of Crete and 10 jewelry stores in the rest of Greece.

2005 – 2009

Ownership of a jewelry shop at the central market of Heraklion.

1999-present

Establishment and operation of a goldsmith shop named Lemon in Heraklion Crete, whose professional activity is maintained until present time.

The shop’s services include:

o Jewelry repairs for various retail shops.

o Construction of handmade gold jewelry (14, 18, 24 carats). In 2005 the shop employed six technicians and was producing up to 11/2 kilos of 24 carats gold per month.

o Construction of gifts and other various products in silver and gold (crosses, tobacco holders, wedding sweet boxes, cases for antic knives and antic swords, etc.)

o Close collaboration with producers of Cretan knives (folk art) and construction of casts for the cases and other decorative parts.

o Undertaking plating and casting jobs for other jewelry shops.
