Director of Client Operations, Pharmacy
Responsible for the full operations of (Closed Door) Worksite Pharmacies and Client reporting and interactions for Sites located in Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana and Alabama. Works closely with Pharmacy Managers to maximize savings for our Client and maximize profits for CHD.

Provided leadership for Pharmacy Managers, and worked with staffs to develop rules, policies and standards of practice, protocols, and other components of Pharmacy-related patient care services.
Supervised subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workloads, and delegating assigned tasks, training, monitoring and evaluating performances and validating competency and initiating the corrective and disciplinary actions.
I act as a resource for management and staff to provide professional and technical support where needed, or guided to resource support from another within the organization to help solve the issue.
Ensured compliance to all state and federal and company policies and procedures.
Improved inventory controls based on seasonal utilizations and turns. Established with the Pharmacy Managers the min/max programs on the highest utilization drugs and OTC's to balance inventory and to minimize shrink.
Improved generic usage from 45% to 60% respectively by just communicating results monthly.
Analyzed profit and loss statements to budgets and shared strengths and weaknesses with the Pharmacy Managers and we put together an action plan to improves any weak results.
Conducted monthly meeting with Clients to review operations, utilizations and savings as budgeted. Conducted quarterly meetings to review the actual verses the budgeted results and to address any areas where we could improve the total operation, or to celebrate the successes.

District Manager
Responsible for operations and merchandising of 9 Stores in the Washington DC suburbs of Southern Maryland, with annual sales exceeding $12 million. Work closely with store managers to maximize sales and profits in a difficult market.
Put upgrading process in place that resulting in the district going from one of the worst in the company to one of the best.
Improved quality of store teams resulting in improved customer counts, sales and profits. Sales in the district went from -4.65% to YTD sales of +10.52%, currently trending at +25% versus last year comps.
In December 2007, company comps ran +7.6% and my district ran +19.6% the second best result in a company of 8,250 stores. Also cut shrink in half and set the trend to cut it in half again in 2007.

Regional Director of Pharmacy Operations
Responsible for operations and merchandising of 19 Stores in 6 States including Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Michigan with annual sales in excess of $100M. Worked closely with Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacists and merchandising department to maximize sales and profits lead region in comp sales in both Pharmacy and front store sales.
Upgraded staffs in the Pharmacies and Front Store to improve service, sales and profits.

Division Grocery Merchandiser
Responsible for operations and merchandising for 150 stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi with $1.3 billion in annual sales. Recruited and developed Regional Managers, District Managers and Store Managers to maximize sales and profits. Participated in the design of new stores and managed grand opening activities. Achieved number one ranking out of nine divisions in sales, gross dollars and gross margin.
Redesigned and reset stores to cater to the demographics of individual neighborhoods to improve customer flow, maximize sales and profits and be pro-active against competition.
Worked closely with vendors to create Plan-o-grams and product mix based on demographics using IRI Data to maximize the space to sales ratio.
Publish weekly a customized sales planner for all stores to use to set displays, improve sales potential and blend gross margins.
