A Senior Project Manager assigned to the Network Management team of the Firm, given the responsibility to manage the application development and support services for the Optimum Voice (OV) division of the Firm. This includes client interfacing, business requirements gathering/review development, implementation planning, overall project tracking/reporting, cost control management, IT governance and validation for the groups PLC policies, procedures and Quality Assurance and integration services. The applications are written using BEA(Oracle) Weblogic development platform, executing under a Vitria middleware or J2EE/.Net environment using numerous Oracle databases in a Sun Solaris/Windows operating environment. Accomplishments are;

• Managed the development and implementation of improved functionality of the groups Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) provisioning system to support the OV customer base for voice services, problem resolution and direct emergency routing and medical services.

• Assisted the Operations Service Technology group in a Oracle database Cluster migration project. Performed the preparation, notification and planning with the firm’s operations management, restart/reload procedures and core application testing.

• Enhanced the processing of the Geographic location processing in identifying state, city, county and town location boarders in assigning OV phone numbers within the bounders of NPA and NXX assigned ranges as recognized by the US local and long distance phone carriers.

• Managed the Operations Service Technology group in organizing and deployment of a replacement Remedy HA environment to support the Firms Network Management division including all issues related the LightPath business support services division.

As a Senior Project Manager, currently assigned to the Investment Management Americas Technology team under the Asset Management Group of the Firm. responsible for the development and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application offered by Pyxis Mobile Inc. The product consists of a Blackberry front-end application, which interfaces to a Sybase/Sql server database back-end. This project involves the management of the group’s methodology, implementation planning, overall project tracking/reporting, issues/risk management, client interfacing, business requirements gathering and validation of the Firms Customer information database. My responsibilities and accomplishments are;

• Engage the Asset management clients to develop business requirements, Blackberry screen functionality and the overall processing flow of the application.

• Managed the program processes, project planning, resources, project tracking and reporting, timelines and insure corporate document management standards are followed and implemented.

• Enforcement of QA standards, IT governance, PMO methodology, access security and implementation readiness.

• Assisted the infrastructure and communication groups in creating the Windows/VMware instance and the installation of DNS entries and aliases for Development, UAT, Production and DR environments.

• Engaged the Blackberry support services group in the configuration of the access paths permitting the PyxisMobile application (mInstitutional) to process thru corporate BES servers.

• Collaborated with the DBA groups to design and develop the Sql database and installation of the access privileges to the CRM Sybase database.

Assigned the responsibility to develop a Project Management Office (PMO) for the Firm’s four primary lines of business in software development and IP communication. This task includes the development of the Firms project life cycle for the development, infrastructure, Quality Assurance (QA) and support services teams which cover the development environments written in C++/.Net, and Linux. My areas of responsibilities and accomplishments are;

• Built the processing procedures, strategy, tollgates and approval process for project implementation and verification necessary to comply with the requirements as requested by clients and management.

Assigned to assist management in the decommissioning of a VMS based accounting system that supports the JPMorgan Asset Management group of the firm. Processing a database over a terabyte in size, the application consist of 28+ sub applications which feeds hundreds of other applications throughout the company. Responsibilities included;

• The decommissioning of a custom accounts reporting process which supports the generation of custom account data to a new ETL Informatica generated database using Oracle as database engine.

• The rewrite of the Short term Pricing matrix and private placement pricing application which supports the JPMC funds trading desk on a daily bases.

• Rewrite of a Fixed Income settlement application that supports trade confirmations, trade letter messaging and custody client accounts using DTC/ISITC, Swift and EGate messaging.

• Managed the client relocation including a data center migration into a new corporate managed building of a portfolio based subsidiary of firm from the Chicago area into the JPMC Boston facility.

• Managed the installation/migration of Merrill’s infrastructure and communications services with the firms fixed income clearing and settlement function with JPMorgan Chase Bank, estimated at $125 Billion dollars per day which included file transfer, MQ middleware administration teams and interactive transactions processing.

• Collaborated with clients and IT personnel, in building a business process automation enhancement to outsource 2200+ business reports to ADP Inc. for use with their PostEdge reporting applications saving the firm $1 million.

• Led the Data center migration of the firm’s Fixed Income Clearing, Settlement and Custody distributed applications into a full scale disaster recovery environment with SRDF data replication using EMC ‘SAN’ storage units, end-to-end quality testing and control including Oracle /SQL Server database management.

• Negotiated numerous strategic contracts with vendors for services which involved following corporate standards, policies and procedures including Corporate Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) specifications.

• Formulated, with Application Development/Support Services, the build-out, installation and quality assurance testing of new development and 3rd party applications into the firm’s primary and disaster processing sites.

• Managed a matrix of engineering, development, systems personnel in the build-out, testing and migration of the Firms DTCC legacy connectivity to a new DTCC SMART circuit auto-fail-over infrastructure for the Firms. This includes MQ messaging, FTP and NDM transfers, application suites like Trade Suite, Web access of GSCC/MBSCC(FICC) and NSCC, Credit Derivatives, MDH services and EPN processing including a Global Implementation with London, Dublin and Pac Rim saving the Firm $500,000.

• Directed the successful transition of the Firms legacy Options Clearing Corp processing with OCC’s new FIXML format processing into Real-time MQ messaging with security listed/Update information feeds.

• Managed Software upgrades to Solaris 2.8/9 operating platforms for the Clearing, Settlement and Custody applications with $100,000 dollars savings in administration and service cost.

• Responsible for the connectivity in development of a Tri-Party REPO processing system with the Bank of NY involving MQ messaging, FTP, and Telnet services with our business finance group trading group.

• Managed and quality tested with Merrill’s application and business partners the Firm wide migration from SIAC legacy connectivity to SIAC SFTI environment with a cost saving of $125,000 dollars per year.

• Performed numerous analysis and coordination of various Windows based application into a Linux/VMWare distributed environment with the successful goal to reduce overall operating and maintenance cost.

• Managed with Merrill’s Network, infrastructure support, business and application groups access to Market Data and the consolidation of NASDAQ communications processing into a service utility saving the Firm $300,000.

• Maintained excellent working relationships with external service corporations (DTCC, JPMChase, Citibank, Bank of NY, SIAC, NASDAQ, Radianz and Bloomberg) including Off-shore resource management (Tata, Covansys).

Participated in an Enterprise initiative to expand the Firm’s Fixed Income Clearing Operation and support services in support of Societe Generale. Responsibilities involved building of the strategic infrastructure/network connectivity with SG, Bank of New York and Bloomberg including QA regression testing and fail over clients. This initiative covered a wide variety of technologies and platforms using web based applications written in JAVA, VBScript, JB, EJB, Com, DCOM, C++, VB, ASP, SQL and Oracle databases including MQ middleware services. Member of a data center migration team to relocate a 500+ distributed applications datacenter to a new location due to the results affected by 9/11/2001 NYC attack.
