Dear Sir or Madam:
Please accept this letter and my attached resume as application for the position listed. My accomplishments have included the following:
I have modernized several aspects of my last employer, from upgrading his logistics software to meet not only his needs but save time and money. In this process I interviewed and researched many applications. I demonstrated great problem solving abilities in creating a new process for one of our biggest customers, a university, to simplify the ordering process for them and us. Time management is something I take great pride in, knowing when a job will be done on time, and knowing when problems arise not only how to fix them but taking action to do so. I demonstrated this in a launch project i had with Sony for a new product line. There were several hold ups by the manufacturer that constricted my time; I hired a small crew to complete the pre kiting of the project to put us back on schedule with very little extra cost to us. My creativity is demonstrated through many of the jobs i have created and completed with my clients, from custom toy cars to organizing golf tournaments.
Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.
I would appreciate the opportunity to meet and further share with you my qualifications and enthusiasm. I invite you to review my attached resume and thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Matt Corrigan
