Accomplishments
- Kept Conde from loosing several customers by ordering and expediting Christmas items that had
been overlooked by the previous buyer.
- Saved money on several items at Conde by renegotiating with the vendor and getting cost increases delayed.
- Saved US Foodservice over $245,000 in a two year period by renogiating prices with vendors and freight carriers.
- Set up various consignment programs on parts to save Webster Industries over $195,000 in a year and a half
- Negotiated a savings of $466,743 for the year of 2002.
- Started a repair program with Metso on knife clamps which created a savings of approximately $27,000 per year.
- Set-up Rosemount transmitters on consignment. This program reduced the store’s inventory by $37,000.
- Put a high percentage of bearing on consignment, which resulted in a reduction of inventory by $50,000.
- Successfully located parts needed from other paper mills. I obtained a complete left and right chuck assembly from the Moss Point Mill at no cost, except for freight, which saved approximately $60,000. I also acquired two headers for the Signode M20 Model Bander from the Moss Point Mill at no cost. This was a $36,025 item making a total of $72,050.
