Experience:
Pepperidge Farms Inc. July 2008 to 09/14/2012
Distribution Supervisor
Key Achievements and Projects:
• F-11 obtained $208,000 dollars in enablers’ combination of labor savings, better route planning and cubing out of trucks, and negotiated better contract with common carrier for stuffing season.
• Implemented pulling orders using handheld scanners instead of printouts, this was a huge change. This made it possible to better distribute each day’s workload instead of pulling all SKU’S, each shipper is assigned about 27 sku’s instead of pulling all 92 sku’s. This increased our workflow tremendously and was a major contributor to labor savings. Picking accuracy increased by 18%. We were the first Pepperidge farm shipping department to make this change.
• F-12 worked closely with corporate co-packing division, to find a local co-packer for our bagels, resulting in freight savings of $800,000 dollars annually.
• Implemented cross training within the department, which allowed for greater flexibility as a supervisor to be able to move individuals around to cover key positions.
• In 2011 our shipping team was nominated for a Campbell Soup high performance team award.
• 2012 projects include Zla logistics team at corporate level, managing the production of Isle display stuffing pallets for the upcoming holiday season for all major retail markets.

Goals Seeking long term employment, will strive to improve teams efficiency, safety, and overall team performance. Also I do track data very closely and one of the reasons is, I like to think of data as your scoreboard, and without this data you are just practicing.
