PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
May 2008-present:
SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR, Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago, IL
-Led all marketing and communications efforts for the Safety, Security & Risk Management department, in addition to other departments at the CTA on an as-needed basis or for special projects
-Singly developed the concept, message and visual design for the CTA’s external anti-terrorism campaign, which was then used as the basis for other campaigns
-Created compelling and strategic messaging to internal and external audiences
-Managed a federal grant and developed projects in accordance with grant guidelines
-Created multi-tiered marketing campaigns that included: videos, posters, brochures, policies and procedures and letters from the president or other high-level officials. Created the concepts associated with these projects and oversaw their distribution
-Wrote high-level correspondence from CTA presidents to the mayor of Chicago, officials at federal and regional regulatory agencies and company management
April 2007-April 2008:

-Wrote the City of Chicago’s Code of Conduct for distribution to all city employees
-Coordinated the cover art, layout, design, production and distribution of the Code of Conduct

-Developed talking points for Mayor Richard M. Daley regarding an ordinance creating the Office of Compliance
