1. MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT, 1998 to 2011

a. MARKETING MANAGER – Malco Products, Barberton, Ohio (1993 to 2001).

Developed product specifications, names, packaging, and promotions to support over 500 SKUs and $60 million sales. Accomplishments include trade show management, annual planning, communications, continuous improvement team leadership, increased sales and profitability, new product launches (Xtrax, Ultra Cutting Crème, Scuff Stuff and others with sales over $5 million), and reduced costs by analyzing expenditures.

b. MERCHANDISE MANAGER – Sherwin-Williams Automotive, Cleveland, Ohio. (1991 to 1993).

Supported sales of non-paint associated products by developing marketing programs, brands, and acquisition strategies for over 3000 SKUs from over 100 vendors with value over $100 million. Improved delivery performance of vendors by 32%. Resolved vendor quality and manufacturing issues to save a $2.2 million product line. Launched two $2 million product lines. Led development and launch of $3 million 15-item compound, glaze and tool product line.

c. PRODUCT MANAGER -- Loctite Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio. (1988 to 1991)

Provided marketing leadership to support sales of automotive and consumer product lines by introducing new products, creating promotions and sales support materials, advertising, and public relations programs. Launched Fast Orange Hand Cleaner and produced $5 million in sales in less than two years. Developed and managed products from concept to deletion. Managed $1.2 million promotion budget. Researched and launched $2 million Worldtech and composite material repair products lines with first year sales over $2 million.

d. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT – Various school districts in northeastern Ohio. (2004 to 2011).

Managed over 100 students in diverse classrooms in northeastern Ohio teaching physical and earth sciences.

2. EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE, 2004 TO 2011

(2004 – 2011). Managing, planning, and delivering science instruction to middle and high school students. Schools include Canton City Schools, Fieldcrest of North Canton, Mapleton High School, and Strongsville High School.

3. EARLY CAREER EXPERIENCE, 1976 to 1988

After receiving MS from University of Pittsburgh, worked for Bell Helicopter International in Iran as Supervisor and then Acting Manager of Process Laboratories; worked as Technical Service Representative for Tremco Products; as a Production Supervisor for Harshaw Chemical Company; and Regional Manager for Diamonite Products.
