• Run up to 9,500 lbs. of breaded, par-fried, and baked chicken breast and hot wings per hour.

• Monitor oven temperature, speed of line, cook temperature, marinating time, breading pick-up, and final yield of product.

• Schedule/rotate workers hours and days off, in a plant working seven days a week while keeping hours at 40 per week.

• Monitor ingredients, kill date, weight, and manufacturing techniques to ensure product conforms to specifications

• Oversee product changeover to ensure proper line and equipment setup.

• Collaborated with Engineering, Lead Supervisors, Union Leadership, Peers and Subordinates to ensure that production and quality requirements were met on a daily basis.

• Lead/facilitated numerous Lean teams analyzed and reviewed the process, made recommendations to management on process improvement, saving operating expenses.

• Functioned as a main troubleshooter in problem areas with high absenteeism, process and production issues.

• Met goals of 1,350 side-by-side refrigerators in an eight-hour shift with a 19.66 second job cycle time per assembler at 90% loading or better.

• Ran mixed models, performed on-line repairs, off-line repairs and post-shift maintenance to avoid downtime estimated at $350 per minute down. Always met and exceeded Company production and quality goals.

• Safety Co-Chair for twenty-five foot line (11 million man-hours without a lost time accident).
