QUALIFICATIONS Over 25 years experience in the printing industry overall, with knowledge and capabilities of set-up, operation and the running maintenance of various machines and equipment, mainly Flexographic printing presses. Knowledge includes all aspects of set-up, operations, maintenance, ink mixing & color matching, plate mounting and clean-up procedures. Experienced with water, solvent & UV inks and coatings. Knowledged in line & process printing and proper respective anilox selection. I have worked with various rotary, air-eject, magnetic dies and other special tooling. Enthusiastic, energetic and strive for excellence working in a team setting to meet job deadlines and company goals. Resourceful and committed to deliver high quality products to the customer on-time and with safety always of great importance.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCES Mechanically inclined throughout High School with such classes as Automotive, Machine Shop and Welding being my most enjoyable classes. Most work experiences involved some type of machinery operations, mainly in the printing industry.

3/05/07 - 5/14/07 Balancer/Drill Press, Daco Machinist Inc., 609 Airport Rd., No. Aurora, IL 630-***-**** (Jan Sargeant). Operated drill press to balance flywheels for engines, then trained to be a CNC lathe operator.
2002-2005 Pressman, ,DecoLabel, 500 N. Thomdale, WoodDale, IL 847-***-**** (LarryWells). Set-up and operated 8 color/13” MA 2200, 2 color 17" MA 2200 with 5 spindle CTC turret rewinder. I was also the weekend shift supervisor.
2000-2002 Pressman Label Tek, 1217 So. Bridge St., Yorkville, IL 630-***-**** (Dean). Set-up and operated 7”&10” 6color Allied presses, also a 16" 6 color Aquaflex press.
1996-1999 Pressman, Reed-Rite Label, 1427 CentreCircle Dr. Downers Grove, IL.630-***-**** (Gary Albright). Set-up and operated 10” 6 color MA 4120, also 10” 9 color MA 2200 w/plowfolder and turret rewinder.
1995-1996 Pressman, U.S. Stencil, Plainfield, IL. (Steve McKillip) Set-up and operated 4 color 7" Propheteer, Allied FM1B 3/C stack press, MA 830 and 6 color MA 4140.
1985-1995 Pressman, Solar Communications, 1120 Frontenac Rd. Naperville, Ill. (personel dept.) 1-630-***-****. Worked as a cutter operator in the bindery dept. also some operations with folders and collators, then to flexo in 1988. Operated 6 color Carint Gemini 32" C.I. Press w/7th unit for heat/cold seal applications and demetalization rinse unit. Printed mainly on polyethylene, polypropylene, off-set paper and some pressure sensitive label materials. Also trained briefly on a Titan Slitter and a little plate making orientation. I was given the title of Lead Pressman, was directly involved in a few submitted printed packages that won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards thru the FTA.
EDUCATION Graduated West Aurora High School in 1983.
General education with emphasis in Industrial education. Learned basic machine operations on such machines as engine lathes, (Clausing, South Bend), vertical mill (Bridgeport),drill press, surface grinder, Brown&Sharp indexing head and other misc. machinery. Also learned Arc welding (Lincoln), AC, DC+, DC-, MIG (Miller), and acetylene gas welding, brazing, and cutting. Learned basic lap and butt welds 1/8" to 1/2" mild steel.
