MASGO is the current MAS cargo reservation and handling system that handles all allotment and bookings. There is no revenue management capability in MASGO. To get the new entries for various parts like availability and space management new messages were introduced. There will be a communication with the FLM team managed by PROS management in Chennai through these messages. The new messages were on availability on various flights, space management and confirmation of space deduction on any booking made.

Project Profile
MASGO is the current MAS cargo reservation and handling system that handles all allotment and bookings. There is no revenue management capability in MASGO. To know the net revenue of each consignment on the day of uplift there is a facility called ARCADE which captures all AWBs correctly rated before departure on the first segment and eliminates all errors on the same day at station level. Enhancement to MASGO system is required to support MASkargo business with the introduction of cargo revenue system. The enhancement is part of the recommendations in the Engineering Study Report (ESR) provided by i-kargo RM application provider to improve MASkargo business process for revenue management. The enhancement will be implemented in four releases. This release is basically about ARCADE (Automatic Rate Calculation and AWB Data Environment) rating enhancements. This enhancement will allow more AWBs (Airway bills) to be auto rated by system and less manual intervention.
The user have been given a new advanced feature of making the calculation with different currencies as per there origin city. During calculation the rate will be displayed in currency of the city even if they have been updated in various rate table with different currencies

Reservation is a functionality which is used to create PNR and update various SSR and other information in PNR. Basically, I have worked on various part of it which ranges from Group booking, Dividing of PNR, Creating and updating new SSR, Reinstate the deleted SSR and many more.
Cargo is a functionality which basically allows the automatic handling of freight reservations, information and documentation. It deals with reservations of consignment , handling of consignment (like Cargo acceptance at departure and arrival city, Cargo manifesting, Load advice for Cargo, Custom clearance etc), tracing of Cargo and transshipment etc.
Training Undergoing – Automated Check In
Check In is the process which comes into act when a passenger is at the airport to board the flight. This functionality includes process from assigning of flight till closure of flight.
