Safety Management
Led the plant safety efforts in a reduced recordable injury rate of .89, a 12% reduction. This was accomplished through safety committee team efforts and behavior based safety observation Audits. Collaborated and led a cohesive safety team of military and contractor representatives resulting in a 71% reduction in contractor maintenance incidents over a two year period.
Program Compliance
Revamped and lead the aerosol critical safety team and Process Safety Management team through improved program documentation, planned maintenance tracking and Behavioral based Observation Systems. Developed and maintained a Safety and Environmental compliance matrix, to assist in tracking program compliance for regulatory programs.
Environmental Sustainability
Experience in maintaining Title V, NPDES, RCRA, ground water permits and a waste water pre treatment facility operation. Implemented a recycling program that reduced the waste landfill refuse by 50% and increased recycling revenue by 60K. Lead lighting, water and compressed air audits, with a combined estimated annual savings of 275K.
Hazard Identification/Elimination
Developed and implemented a structured hazard elimination approval process, resulting in hazards being eliminated and tracked for reoccurrence throughout multiple facilities. Developed, implemented and maintained a Safety Near Miss program increasing participation 3 fold and assisted in recordable injury reduction by 18%.
Training
Provided initial and reoccurring safety orientation briefing for all corporate personnel and subcontractors. Set up and presented semi-annual safety stand down presentations for 550 program personnel. Implemented and maintained the Training Management System, tracking certification and medical requirements for all direct and indirect personnel.
Problem Solving
Project managed the efforts of a waste water pretreatment sludge removal operation, with multiple contractors. Researched and implementing an effective solution to command media repository for a single source for policies/procedures, utilizing Reality Charting analysis.
