section-operational readiness at 90%. Deployed in Operation Desert Storm-
identified/corrected major problems on systems used in desert, keeping them 80%
ready. Assisted in obtaining new vehicles for systems.

Responsibilities: supervise maintenance section consisting of 8 personnel,
maintenance/ repair of systems valued in excess of $16 million.
Accomplishments: Improved personnel/time management
techniques. Upgraded technical skills on digital data processing equipment.
1985 - 1988 Radio Repairman/Operator - NCOIC of Field Maintenance Team.
Responsibilities: Forward maintenance worldwide on satellite communications
with computer data links. Remote HF radios control by phone link. Provide
communications support for counter terrorist operations.
Accomplishments : Design and acquisition of parts for 2 satellite Earth
stations with computer data links for COMJSOC and CINCEUR. Deployed
on numerous real-world missions.
1984 - 1985 EW/INTERCEPT System Repair Supervisor

Responsibilities: supervised 13 personnel and tech supply. Maintenance/repair
of tactical EW/lntercept Systems. Direction Finding Jamming and Airborne
Platforms.
Accomplishments : Assisted in acceptance testing of new manpack DF systems.
Validated technical manuals. Updated skills on airborne EW/lntercept systems.
1983 - 1984 EW/INTERCEPT System Repairman
Assistant Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities: maintenance/repair of Hippodrome(space collections/intercept)
site. Systems included computers, wide-band recorders and specialized antenna
systems, highly unique and valued at over $29.2 million. Supervised 16
maintenance personnel, tech supply, and tool control.
Accomplishments : Learned multi-channel digital multiplexing techniques.
Became adept at site systems. Instituted training for new technicians.
1980 - 1983 EW/INTERCEPT System Repairman
Responsibilities: maintenance/repair of all EW/Intercept and communications
equipment. Member of Special Operations team responsible for behind the lines
electronic intelligence gathering. Assistant armorer. NBC NCO.
Accomplishments: Twice commended for 100% ratings on maintenance by 18th
Airborne Corps. Adapted a design of telephone monitoring position for use by
Special Operation teams.
