The main objective of the project is to develop a Decision Support System that helps a shop floor manager in the production planning of two products, Alpha and Beta, for which orders are placed in variable quantities throughout the week (Minitab).

 Crashworthiness and Occupant Safety in FMVSS208, NCAP, Pole car impacts, Head-to-Head impact:

To study the performance of individual part & the automobile in a crash using Finite Element Method (LS-Dyna).

 Equal Channel Angular Extrusion (HyperMesh/Abaqus):

The technique is able to refine the microstructure of metals & alloys, thereby improving their strength.

 Flip Chip Package:

To predict the fatigue life of solder balls in completely and incompletely filled flip-chip packages to understand the effects of under fill material (In the application of thermal loading cycle).

 Six Sigma Project:

Reducing casting defects in an automotive engine using DMAIC methodology.
