Objective

To obtain a position as a linguist where I can contribute my skills acquired from being an

Farsi/Pashto interpreter for the United States of America Army.

My duties consisted of interpreting official government documents and translating

conversations from Farsi or Pashto into English.

November 1996-September 2008, Employee Assistance Program Counselor

United States Postal Service

During my position as counselor I helped United States Postal Service employees through

personal and work related problems. I gave advice, helped them with problem solving and

listened to their concerns.
