Project Details:-

Survival Analysis of Bone Marrow Transplant Data

Statistical Abstract:-

Estimation of the survival function & cumulative hazard function & then plotting the survival function & cum. hazard function for the different groups to see whether there is a significant difference among the groups in respect of survival curve.

Test for the difference among the groups with respect to baseline survival function using formal hypothesis testing.

The data involves a large of covariates, our interest centers in identifying the significant covariates which best explains the survival function. And then to look at the regression diagnostic for the fitted model based on the residual plots.

Based on residual plots, we look which among the significant factors has non-proportional hazards & then re-examining the regression model, adjusting for the use of that factor by fitting a stratified model.

Software used: - R, MS Excel, and Minitab.
