A $1.7 billion company and the nation’s leading
manufacturer and distributor of wood and wood-
alternative products serving the retail, dealer,
site-built construction, manufactured housing and
industrial markets.
National Import Manager: 2009 to 2011
Oversee purchasing of all South American products
for entire company totaling approximately $60 million
annually. Direct price negotiations for: quarterly
contracts, ocean and intermodal freight and warehouse
services to achieve lowest possible delivered cost.
Collaborate with sales and various plants to develop
business with new and existing customers. Hire, train
and develop knowledgeable buyers.
* Established departmental best practices and
procedures which reduced errors and improved

* Sourced and developed new suppliers and improved
