Controls Specialist

As a Controls Specialist for Steam Plant Systems, with expertise in distributed control systems relating to flame safety and combustion control. A combination of strong instrumentation skills and distributed control platforms coupled with extensive boiler and burner startup experience. I have developed control systems on Siemens distributed control system platforms including Siemens PCS7, S7-400, S7-300, S7-1200, WinCC.

Field service engineering support for control systems and field devices on a wide variety of platforms and applications.

Extensive boiler/burner field service support as the primary instrumentation and startup engineer for projects involving Todd, Coen, and Peabody burners along with boilers from English, B&W, Indeck, and others. This includes startup activity related to installation of new systems and burner retrofits, as well as continued field service support for tuning and emissions compliance of completed systems.

Field service engineer for coordination of emissions testing required to meet EPA and NYS DEC stack permit conditions.

Primary instrumentation engineer for numerous DCS and PLC/SCADA projects with various hardware/software platforms including Allen Bradley PLC-5/SLC-500 and Control Logix , Intellution HMI, Rockwell Software RsView, Siemens PCS7, Siemens 353 SLC.
