I was employed from 2011 to 2012.
My duty as a stylist was to cut, color, wax clients and building business. I opened and closed the salon, did hair shows, which I like to specialize in.

I was employed from 2009 to 2010.
My duties were being a Key holder. This included all basic cosmetologist responsibilities but opening and closing the store. Along with training employees. One of three stylist in our salon that did all the updo’s.

I was a C.N.A on the med-surg floor. My duties were performing vitals, assisting in moving patients, keeping doing and track of paperwork, measuring and packaging specimens, and many other duties.

Training:
I went to a Paul Mitchell school ( Lindsey Institute of Cosmetology) I was trained to do hair, skin, and nails. During that time for about 1 year I worked on the floor doing clients 8 hours a day.
During my time working at Hair Cuttery, we had a computer system and program that signed in clients and also kept track of there visits and what we had done. I was responsible for teaching employees how to use this too.
I’ve taken several color, cutting, and highlighting classes give by the Hair Cuttery.
I was in nursing school for 3 years which keeps me grounded in difficult situations.
Aveda color is based on levels and Pigments. I had to learn how to compose different colors to make my own color.
