OBJECTIVE

I desire to provide my employer with the best possible performance. If I do not know the necessary information or have the required skill I am willing to learn. I believe that striving for perfection is at the top of the list in any type of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

I have worked in a variety of settings. While working my full time jobs, I also worked at several part time jobs to supplement my income. These experiences have provided me with the education to direct others, as well as educate, develop, and implement programs.

EDUCATION

Certified Personal Trainer ACT 2011

Nesta Lifestyle and Weight Management Specialist 2011

Career Step Medical Transcription 2008-Present

Liberty University(online) Psychology/Education 2005-Present

Columbia Southern University Certified Pharmacy Technician 2002-2003

Harcourt Learning Direct Legal Assistant 1997-1998

Prestonsburg Community College Emergency Medical Technician 1995

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

I have had experience in both front office and back office settings. I have been trained in setting appointments, filing, proper phone etiquette and initial client/patient interaction. I have also been trained in assisting doctors and other medical professionals with everything from routine procedures to outpatient surgery. In my most recent position it was required weekly that I type necessary data according to drug enforcement regulations, create a file and submit the information to the proper state mandated filter system. I also received state authorization to do KASPER(Kentucky Prescription monitoring program) reports on necessary patients and provide information to the doctor.

Between the years 2005-2007 I worked PRN as a unit secretary in the emergency department. This position allowed me to submit patient information into the system. I was also responsible for patient information being prepared and transferred along with the patient during transportation; Other tasks were submitting proper information for admission and routing calls from emergency department doctors to other hospitals.

My volunteer work allowed to receive training as network coordinator for the American Lung Association. This lead to my developing and implementing plans in our community for an asthma day camp.

I would also like to mention that I have worked in the position of substitute teacher for pre K-8.
