Set-up and operate 72"x 160" Hooper Swift Machine. Schedule shop floor

orders for optimum utilization of machine, verify incoming stock to insure

adherences to print specs and inspect print plates. Responsible for first

piece dimensional and print quality specifications.

Company Description -Manufacturer of Injection Molded Parts for the

Automotive and RV Market. ISO Certified and a Tier 2 supplier to Ford,

Honda, and Toyota. Its primary RV Customer is Thetford. Due to Economic

situations at One Way, I worked both as an employee and as a contractor at

different times during this period.

Production Manager

Position Description - Supervision of 25 to 40 people over two shifts.

Performed all sampling and new equipment start-ups. Managed Maintenance and

Toolroom Departments and assured that Preventative Maintenance Procedures

were adhered to. Scheduled machines for optimum utilization while ensuring

on time delivery for Customers. Orchestrated daily Production/Quality

meetings to improve plant communications.

. Eliminated one shift of production by utilizing Personnel and

Equipment

. Reduced department scrap rate from 4.6% to under 2% in first 6

months

. Installed new water cooling tower system and several presses with

no additional labor cost to company.

PTC Enterprises . Edon Ohio . Established 1993 - Sold my personal shares in

late 2006

Several partners and I (as President) founded this plastic injection

molding company in 1993. With our combined experience and knowledge we

quickly became a Tier Two supplier for GM, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Mazda and

Toyota. Our total customer base included 70% automotive, 20% boat and RV

and 10% miscellaneous. PTC was successful in insert molding, vertical

shuttles and rotary shuttles along with being a specialty sampling shop for

our customers. We were leaders in contributing engineering changes and had

multiple tool shop affiliations. Our organization quickly became profitable

holding $12M in sales, as well as starting up PTC Trucking and a separate

assembly facility located nearby in Edgerton Ohio. PTC easily obtained

QS9000 status in six months assisted by over 100 local employees who

contributed to and shared in our success.
