On a daily basis, I handle outgoing shipping, list about two hundred books on Amazon’s website, and run error reports; just to name a few tasks. I understand the many aspects of the cultural environment that comes along with small business or any business for that matter. The owners consistently look to me to help them in anyway; an apparent act of a confidence that I will succeed only built up by trust from my time working with them. No task at the store can be done on autopilot; various situations for different types of customers and books are presented everyday and the owners trust me to make the best decision. I’m very use to a hybrid inventory system dealing with fulfilled stock and in store inventory.

I am currently employed at BestBuy as a computer customer specialist and the department’s apple specialist. I was promoted at the end of October 2011 after only been working for BestBuy since the beginning of August 2011. At BestBuy, I work to find the most suitable solution to fit each and every customer’s unique needs and wants. I’m am often the go to guy for any Apple related questions the customers/employees may have and assist them by answering questions they may have about products or by introducing them to something completely new.

I was employed at American Eagle as a sales associate. This position required me to organize and stock shipments, accomplish floor sets, handle the cash register, and provide reliable customer experiences using authenticity, sense of humor, creativity, relentlessness, resourcefulness, and passion. This past January, after only one month with American Eagle, I was recognized for being the star employee of the month.
For signing up the most customers with credit cards, I was also recognized as the credit star of the month for the following April and May as well.

At Atlanta Bread Company, I worked to keep customers satisfied in the food industry. I gained experience operating the cashier, bakery, cook prep, and food lines during my employment. I voluntarily quit the following July to attend The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
PERSONAL
Throughout high school, much of my time went into marching trumpet with the band. I was placed as the section leader and drill tech my senior year for demonstration of leadership in the previous band camps. I have been honored to make the All-State band my sophomore year for trumpet as well. Besides band, I was a member of the Music Honor society which helped me get acquainted with other music lovers like myself. I went on to march with the Million Dollar Band at UA as one of the six upper lead trumpet players in a section of 50 trumpets. My strive for excellence has continued into college as I have been able to tour for twenty-one days with the Madison Jazz in China. Though the language barrier was a challenge, I was still able to communicate to another culture with music and friendly body language. Every major accomplishment to occur in my life has been fueled or led on by the musical side of my personality and I believe the positivity it has brought over the years shows a consistency for success. Using my passion for music as a rock solid foundation, I can accomplish anything else I put my mind to in the future.
