Senior Packaging Design/Engineer POP Displays/Folding Cartons -

I designed various corrugated packaging and POP/Displays. I have extensively designed secondary and tertiary packaging from scratch per customer specs as well as updated and improved upon existing designs. Utilized TOPS/CAPE programs to work out pallet layering patterns for shipping and conducted lab tests on integrity of materials and/or designs. In addition I was also responsible for coordinating with “pre-flight” departments to register artwork to 2D packaging designed layouts. I received four international patents for new designs for different “anti-nesting” features on printed corrugated display containers. Worked extensively with production floor machine operators to make sure packaging designs were functioning properly in process.
