CURRENT PROJECT-

1. WLAN validation for STE: U8500,U8520 & U9540 platforms with Android (ICS & Gingerbread versions) through adb shell.

2. Executing wide range of TC’s involving Exploitary, Regression, Sanity test cycles.

3. Feature Testing: Wifi Direct (p2p, client and autonomous GO mode) & Soft AP (tethering and portable hotspot)

4. QoS (VO,VI,BK,BE) TP measurement for checking system performance, range compliance using Iperf/Jperf with AP’s (Cisco AR1250, HP Pro curve, D-Link)

5. Checking AMPDU-MSDU, WMM QoS sniffer packets, UAPSD, Fast PSM and NOA: PS fields.

6. Bug tacking and raising ER’s on FIDO tool.

Project Handled: AP25- Involved extensively in testing Shyam Networks, AP25 (with Atheros chipset). Testing of functionalities like, Multi VLAN through managed switch, multi SSID, Root AP, Repeater, Client AP modes.

Debugging throughput issues, channel congestion issues, network discovery and probing.

Testing, installation, log parsing for Zero shell & Tek RADIUS server (802.1 x authentications)

• Testing features ACS, Site survey, Dynamic bandwidth allocation.

• Working on various Networking tools like Spirent Tool, JDSU (for Ethernet traffic generation), EXFO, WSI Server, Signal Generator and Spectrum Analyzer.

Project Scope : This project involves the QA of WLAN Device Driver comprising of requirements, analysis, design, and development

Responsibility :

• QA and validation of WLAN chipsets, and enabled source codes (in Shell/ Perl scripts).

• Learn the System test environment.

• Testing on various evaluation kits like Luminary, Atmel, LPC, Samsung mini, ST Microelectronics.

• Run Test cases based on Technical Specification document, with various security modes WEP64,128 & WPA, WPA2PSK.

• Perform manual testing of each unit, in 802.11(a/b/g/n) security modes, WMM enabled and disabled.

• Packet analysis- to check ARP, EaPOL, Auth, Assoc, PS-Poll message exchange.

• Hands on experience on Linksys-CISCO & Asus AP.

• MAC Layer (L2,L3) & Device driver level testing of WLAN chipsets.

• Knowledge of Linux commands, Iperf, ICMP, ARP,TCP/IP, SIP, DHCP and signaling protocols.

• Bug reporting (Share Portal- Bugzilla,Jira) & Documentation.

• A competent and result oriented professional international on site experience in Wireless Communication sector (for YTL Wimax 4G Network provider- client,Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

1. Strategizing and planning for 4G Wimax network device vendors- Infomark, ZTE, Seowon, Modacom, etc.

2. Leading meetings and presenting reports to fulfill Wimax network provider needs.

3. Coordinating, managing and assigning tasks to team, for Wimax device to pass the tests.

4. To integrate CRM practices with other functional processes to keep intact the overall process.

5. In lab and on field troubleshooting various issues related to ASN, CSN Gateway, AAA server in Wimax network.

6. Interacting with GCT (chipset), Samsung (Base Station), Cisco (CSN), Tech Mahindra (billing) engineers for successful integration of device with the Wimax network.

7. Operating on various applications and utilities like (Wireshark,WSM) for packet flow, Network Protocol analysis and call trace.

8. Using tools like XCAL and XCAP, to view MAC mgmt messages, and determination of RSSI, CINR, Throughput of transmitted RF signal.

9. Performing various test cases, in different RF conditions, for Wimax devices to determine performance, any bug reporting and analyzing their performance reports.

10. Software: FTP, X- Cal Analyzer, X- Cap Analyzer, Google Earth, Iperf Utility

11. Take care of the modulation coding schemes as per changing of CINR values.

12. Performed manual and script based testing with channel emulator of each unit

13. Bring up, log parsing and wimax MAC messages analysis over Intel (keelmer peak), GCT, Mediatek, Beceem Wimax chipsets.

Description : Handling out the processes of quality testing & maintenance. Learning involved the various calibration standards maintained for higher range ammeters, voltmeters, CRO, etc about the manufacturing, testing and maintenance of transformers, cables and other electrical devices under varied temperature and pressure conditions.

Project:

“ENHANCED SECURITY SYSTEMS”:-played significant role in the developing of a wireless security system to detect any burglary attempt in a particular region. I displayed proficiency in mounting components on PCB, soldering, testing, Micro controller coding, connecting IR sensors to detect any malicious movement.

Project:

The major project was “Autonomous Robot” which was wirelessly monitored using IR transmitter & Receiver Ckt, It involved 2 stator motors, LCD for manual operation, and path display.

The basic operation was carried by a microcontroller and a motor driver IC, with forward, backward, right and left control functions. The project can be successfully employed for spying, detection of hurdles etc. Self was actively involved in the designing of PCB layout, drilling holes, fabrication, and component assembly, soldering and testing.
