I) Organizational Experience:-

July, 2006 to Mar, 2010 : Innovassynth Technologies Ltd (I), Khopoli

(INDIAN ORGANIC CHEMICALS) worked as a Research

Scientist in an R&D Department.

Key Responsibility Area:

Process Development:

Development of product in lab from gram scale to kilo scale using raw materials of different grades.

Actively involved in set a process for the given molecule within time limit with minimum cost and maximum yield.

Complete analysis of the each reaction (pass/fail) using TLC, HPLC, GC as per need.

Scale up the process at kilo level with technology transfer department in pilot plant.

Work as Product Manager for given project till the dispatch of the product .

Docket preparations of individual project.

Preparation of Weekly reports and Monthly reports.

Procurement of Raw materials from different vendors with support of Stores department.

Maintaining data of each experiment in Lab Record book as well as in MS Excel sheet.

Safety Department:

Looking after the Safety equipments management and maintaining it as per regulatory requirement in R&D lab.

Study the MSDS of each chemical used in every new project and make arrangement of safety equipment’s accordingly.

Preparation of COSHH Sheet(Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) for each project.

Experience:

Responsible for R&D activities including, experimentations, house keeping, safety in the laboratory.

Organic reactions as Swern oxidation reaction, Hydrogenation reaction, Grignard reaction, Friedal craft alkylation reaction, Deamination reaction, Aldol condensation reaction.

Simple Distillation of Pyridine, Acetonitrile, POCl3.

Preparation of reagents like Methoxy Ethyl Bromide (MOE-Br), Phenoxy Acetyl Chloride (PAC-Cl).

Skill of moisture sensitive reactions like Benzoylation, Acylation, Isobutylation, Tac-Cl, Pac-Cl, Succinate-Tea-Salt, Transient protection reaction.

Preparation of anticancer, antisense drug precursors i.e. phosphoroamidites.

Knowledge of Column/ Flash column Chromatographic techniques for purification of compounds.

Demonstration of the process to production persons for large scale in plant.

Communication with Production and other Departments like

RM stores, QC, Engineering, Maintenance.

Planning and scale up of batches with technology transfer.
